International Wheelchair and Amputee Sport Federation (IWAS) and the International Armwrestling Federation for Disabled (IAFD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Friday (5 December), agreeing a historic partnership on the promotion and coordination of armwrestling for disabled persons.

The Memorandum was signed by IWAS President Paul Depace and IAFD President Alexander Filimonov.

Armwrestling was included to 2015 IWAS World Games that will be held in Sochi, Russia from 26 September to 3 October.
