INTERFAX: THE RUSSIAN PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE WILL ASK THE IPC TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR APPEALING AGAINST SUSPENSION
Moscow. December 1. INTERFAX.RU - The Russian Paralympic Committee is waiting for a complete set of documents from the International Paralympic Committee on the IPC's decision to suspend the RPC, President of the Russian Paralympic Committee Pavel Rozhkov told Interfax.
"We received an incomplete set of documents from the IPC, in the near future we will ask for an extension of the deadline to appeal and in order to be provided with the entire package of documents" Rozhkov said.
On November 16, an IPC Extraordinary General Assembly decided to suspend all the membership rights of the RPC. The Russian Paralympic Committee stated that it would appeal the decision in courts.
