From May 20 to 23, the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) is holding an International Conference in Moscow, dedicated to the development of sports cooperation and timed to coincide with the RPC's 30th anniversary. The event is supported by the Russian Sports Fund and the Ministry of Sports of Russia.

The event is attended by more than 40 heads of National Paralympic Committees and international sports organizations, as well as government officials, heads of Russian national sports federations, Russian Paralympic athletes, and national team coaches.

On May 21, a Round Table on the topic of creating conditions for involvement in parasports and the development of the Paralympic movement was held at the Demonstration and Educational Center of the Russian Paralympic Committee.

President of the Russian Paralympic Committee Pavel Rozhkov presented the Russian experience on the round table's topic to the participants. In his report, he spoke about the RPC's sports and educational projects – the "Paralympic Lesson," "Master Class," educational programs and the RPC hotline – as well as the activities of the RPC's Demonstration and Educational Center.

Conference participants familiarized themselves with the work of the Demonstration and Educational Center during an organized Paralympic Lesson and a series of master classes in adaptive sports. The guests were shown the format for conducting theoretical and practical sessions. They also had the opportunity to try their hand at various sports disciplines.

Participating in the master classes and demonstration sessions were: RPC Secretary General, President of the All-Russian Sports Federation for Persons with Physical Impairments, and five-time Paralympic champion Andrey Strokin; RPC Vice President, President of the All-Russian Sports Federation of the Blind, and three-time Paralympic champion Olga Semenova; RPC Vice President, President of the All-Russian Football Federation for Persons with Cerebral Palsy, and Paralympic football champion Ivan Potekhin; Paralympic football champions (CP football) Lasha Murvanadze and Viktor Morozov; silver medalist in Paralympic sledge hockey Vadim Selyukin; as well as winners and prize-winners of all-Russian competitions, coaches, students from the Moscow adaptive sports school, and the CP football children's team "CSKA," led by coach and Paralympic medalist Alexander Frolov.

A master class in sport knife throwing was conducted by President of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Public Organization "Sport Knife Throwing" and President of the International Sport Knife Throwing Association Andrey Trokhov, together with International Master of Sports Varvara Soldatkina.

In addition, round table participants visited the Museum of Paralympic Sport, where they learned about the history of adaptive sports development in Russia and the world, as well as the achievements of Russian Paralympians.

After the round table concluded, a tour of the RPC Demonstration and Educational Center's zones was organized for the delegations, where honored coaches and renowned Paralympic athletes presented the features of various adaptive sports and spoke about the Center's work.
