IN MAGNITOGORSK THE WINNERS OF THE RUSSIAN PARA ALPINE SKIING CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE BLIND IN SLALOM AND GIANT SLALOM HAVE BEEN DETERMINED

In the city of Magnitogorsk (Chelyabinsk region) at the Bannoe ski resort, the Federation of Sports for the Blind is holding the Russian Para Alpine Skiing Championship.

12 athletes from 6 regions of the country took part in the competition.

On March 21 and 22, medals were played in slalom and giant slalom.

Among women, Alexandra Frantseva took the lead twice with the guide Sergey Parfenov from Kamchatka Territory.

Silver medals in slalom were won by Lydia Fligil and Alexei Mayorov (Samara region), bronze by Yulia Mosova and Denis Perevozchikov (Udmurt Republic).

 

In the giant slalom, Yulia Mosova and Denis Perevozchikov won silver, and bronze from representatives of the Chelyabinsk region Nadezhda Tregub with Mikhail Manakov.

In men's slalom, Ivan Frantsev won with German Agranovsky (Kamchatka Territory / Moscow Region). The second place took athlete from the Moscow Region Valery Redkozubov with Evgeny Geroev. In third place is Vitaly Gorny with the leader Evgenia Kolosovskaya (Kamchatka Territory).

In the giant slalom Valery Redkozubov and Evgeny Geroev climbed to the top step of the podium. Dmitry Shulga with Mikhail Matveev won silver awards. In third place is Andrey Lozhkin with Valery Zelensky from the Kamchatka Territory.

On March 23rd and 24th medals will be awarded in super-giant and super-combination.
