In Sochi from October 2 to 9 International complex sports competitions "Summer Games for Para Athletes "We are together. Sport" were held in Sochi.
Duisengali Ospanov, President of the Federation of Paralympic sports of Kostanai region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, summed up the performance of Kazakh athletes in an interview to the press service of the RPC:
"Kazakhstan was represented at the Sochi Games by a small team - only five athletes who competed in table tennis.
I will tell frankly: we were satisfied with the organization of the Summer Games for Para Athletes "We are together. Sport". Russia has once again proved that it is able to hold competitions at a very high level, in accordance with international standards. We had no criticism of the organizers. As for the table tennis tournament, it went very well. We could feel that the task was taken on by experienced experts that can handle such tasks.
I suppose that in the present circumstances it would be good to make such tournaments traditional. If they will be held and if we receive an invitation to take part in such a great start, we will certainly accept it. It's always good to compete against powerful competitors.
