DOCTOR STEFAN BERMON TAKES THE POSITION AS THE EXPERT ON CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) IN THE IPC SCIENCE AND MEDICINE DEPARTMENT

The International Paralympic Committee sent to the National Paralympic Committees information on the appointment of a new expert on coronavirus issues in the relevant IPC department:

Dear affiliates,

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Stefan Bermon agreed to take the position of Coronavirus Expert (COVID-19) in the IPC Science and Medicine Department. In the coming weeks and months, Dr. Bermon will help us to provide you with timely and important updated information regarding COVID-19.

Dr. Bermon is a sports doctor, exercise instructor, has extensive experience in sports and with professional athletes. He is a physician at the Institute of Sports Medicine and Surgery of Monaco, and is currently Director of the Department of Health and Science of the International Athletics Federation.

We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Bermon for helping the IPC and the Paralympic Movement during this difficult time, and we look forward to work with him.
