Congratulations of the RPC President Vladimir Lukin on International Day of Persons with Disabilities
Dear friends!
On behalf of the Russian Paralympic Committee, let me sincerely congratulate you on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities!
As we know, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated annually on December 3 both in our country and around the world.
The goals of the United Nations General Assembly set in 1992 when declaring this special day have not changed today: full and equal human rights, the protection of the right of people with disabilities to a full and active life.
Undoubtedly, this day is needed as a worthy reason to draw the attention of the government and the general public to the problems of people with disabilities living among us. These are people of special vitality, giving us an example of courage, stamina, perseverance, willpower in achieving our goals. It is extremely important that they can feel like full-fledged members of society.
People with disabilities delight us with achievements in various areas of our life, perfectly reveal their talent and potential, challenging the grievous vicissitudes of fate. They also achieved great heights in sports. The Paralympic national teams in the summer and winter sports demonstrate the highest level of sportsmanship on the world sports arenas. We have to hand it to our Paralympians, who accomplish this feat not only in their lives, but also in the life of our country.
On this significant day, I would like to wish you all good health, success, prosperity and happiness. Let your unbending strength of will have no boundaries, be persistent, active people who will not be broken by any difficulties! We admire you immensely!
Wish you all the best!
Vladimir Lukin
