On behalf of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and myself, I congratulate athletes, coaches and specialist in the field of adaptive sports on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities!

For our country, the development of physical culture and sports among people with disabilities are of particular importance. Measures of state support have been taken to create an accessible sports infrastructure and provide all citizens with the necessary conditions for sports. Russian athletes are leaders in the Paralympic and Deaflympic movements, the athletes of the Special Olympics are also keeping pace with them, demonstrating dedication, strength of character, resilience and vitality on the world stage.

I wish athletes, coaches and specialists in adaptive sports well-being, happiness, new successes and victories!
