ANTON BATUGIN: THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL RUSSIAN WHEELCHAIR CURLING TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD IN SWITZERLAND

The Russian national wheelchair curling team has started a training camp at the Yug-Sport sports base in Kislovodsk under the leadership of head coach Anton Batugin and coach Alexander Zhitnyak.

Nine athletes are present at the camp: Konstantin Kurokhtin, Andrey Meshcheryakov, Vitaly Danilov, Alexey Golivko, Andrey Smirnov, Maxim Krasnov, Anna Karpushina, Daria Shchukina, Olga Belyak.

Senior coach of the national team Anton Batugin:

“The training event will last until September 20, some of the athletes will go to Krasnoyarsk on September 16 to participate in the tournament. At the current training camp, we work out technical aspects, tactical schemes, and conduct game sparring.


And from October 1 to October 3, the Russian national team will go to Wetzikon (Switzerland) to participate in an international tournament. The composition of the Russian team is Konstantin Kurokhtin, Andrey Meshcheryakov, Vitaly Danilov, Alexey Golivko and Olga Belyak. "
