On 24 December the Secretary General of the Russian Paralympic Committee, five times Paralympic champion, Andrey Strokin took part via videoconference mode in the session of the Russian Sports Ministry Commission of determining the compliance of the organizations realizing sports training, the conditions of using the words "Olympic", "Paralympic" and "Deaflympic" or words and phrases formed on their basis in the name.
The meeting was conducted by Alexey Morozov, the Deputy Minister of sport of the Russian Federation.
Participants of the meeting reviewed applications submitted to the Commission of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation to determine the compliance of the organizations carrying out sports training for compliance with the conditions of the use of the words "Olympic", "Paralympic" and "Deaflympic" or words and phrases formed from them in their names.
In session took part the Director of Federal State Budget Institution "Federal Centre of Sports Reserve Preparation" Kadriya Akhmerova, representatives of Regional Executive Authorities in the sphere of physical culture and sports, Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and others.
