Andrey Strokin took part in awards ceremony of the competition winners “You are in the game”
On April 15, Secretary General of the Russian Paralympic Committee, 5-time champion of the Paralympic Games, Andrey Strokin, in Moscow, took part in the awards ceremony for the winners of the "You are in the game" competition.
The Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
Outstanding coaches, heads of sports organizations and famous athletes took part in the awards ceremony, including the Olympic champion in skating Svetlana Zhurova, the silver medalist of the Olympic Games in biathlon Nikolai Kruglov, the ambassador of the project "Sport is the norm of life" Alexei Smertin.
The Expert Council of the "You're in the Game" contest has chosen the "Children's Sledge Hockey League" project as the winner. The project managers, Anastasia and Igor Baradachev, received a million rubles for the development of their project. The main prize was presented to them by Sofia Malyavina, General Director of ANO National Priorities.
The Children's Sledge Hockey League aims to involve children with disabilities and their families in the hockey community.
For 5 years of the project's existence, sections on adaptive hockey have already been opened in 25 regions of Russia. Every year the league hosts the All-Russian Team Festival, as well as the inclusive Hockey Family Camp. The league also trains coaches and develops equipment for adaptive hockey.
Run with Zippy, a project from Yakutsk, took second place. This is an unusual mobile application - a running tracker with an interactive pet, which works on the "Tamagotchi" principle. The application adapts to the individual characteristics of a person and helps to make sports a habit.
The third was the Crimea X Run project. Its creators organize scenic races along the Black Sea coast in various formats.
The All-Russian competition "You are in the game" was held for the first time. It is aimed at identifying and supporting creative projects aimed at popularizing mass sports and a healthy lifestyle within the framework of the federal project "Sport is the norm of life". The most creative and effective projects were identified out of 2608 applications.
