ANDREI KALINA WON THE ANNUAL AWARD OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OF SPORTS JOURNALISTS "SILVER DOE"

The Russian Federation of Sports Journalists summed up the results of the sports season and named 10 best athletes, the best coach and the best team in 2021.

Andrey Kalina, 3-times champion in swimming at the Tokyo Summer Paralympic Games, became one of the Silver Doe award winners.

The other laureates of the award were:

Batsarashkina Vitalina (shooting), Medvedev Daniil (tennis), Nagorny Nikita (gymnastics), Pozdnyakova Sofiya (fencing), Repilov Roman (luge), Romashina Svetlana (synchronized swimming), Rublev Andrey (tennis), Rylov Evgeny (swimming), Khramtsov Maxim (taekwondo)

Best coach - Mikhail Likhachev (beach soccer).

Best team: Russian synchronized swimming team.

The awards ceremony will be held in the Russian Olympic Committee in 2022.
