ABOUT 250 ATHLETES WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE RUSSIAN PARA SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP AMONG PI ATHLETES IN UFA
On April 18-26 the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments will hold the Russian Para Swimming Championship in Ufa (Republic of Bashkortostan).
About 250 athletes from 40 subjects of the Russian Federation are expected to participate in the competition.
Among the participants are strongest swimmers of the world - 6-time champion of Paralympic Games Andrey Kalina (St. Petersburg); 3-time Paralympic champion Roman Zhdanov (Altai Territory); 2-time Paralympic champion Denis Tarasov (Saratov Region); 2-time Paralympic champions Igor Plotnikov (Tyumen Region), Bogdan Mozgovoy (Republic of Bashkortostan) and Andrey Nikolaev (Bashkortostan); champions Victoria Ishchiuleva (Orenburg Region), Maria Pavlova (Moscow Region), Andrey Granichka (Sevastopol), Dmitry Chernyaev (Chelyabinsk Region), Alexander Skaliukh (Rostov Region), Daniil Smirnov (Nizhny Novgorod Region), Andrey Gladkov (Volgograd Region), Dmitry Grigoryev (Moscow).
