ABOUT 170 ATHLETES WILL TAKE PART IN RUSSIAN PARA POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP

From April 24 to 29 the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments in Ekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk region) will hold Russian Para Powerlifting Championship.
About 170 athletes from 35 regions of Russia will compete for championship medals.
Leading sportsmen of the country will take part in competitions: silver prize-winners of Paralympic Games Vladimir Balynets and Airat Zakiev, bronze prize-winners of Paralympic Games Vladimir Krivulya and Vera Muratova, silver prize-winners of World Championship Magomed Dzhamalov and Irina Sadovnikova, bronze prize-winners of World Championship Konstantin Matsnev and Marina Beketova and also winners and prize-winners of World Cups, European Championships and international competitions.
The opening ceremony will be held on April 25. On April 28 will be summed up competition results and the closing ceremony of the tournament.
