A. A. STROKIN TOOK PART IN THE FIRST MEETING OF THE PARATRIATHLON COMMISSION OF THE RUSSIAN TRIATHLON FEDERATION IN THE VIDEO-CONFERENCE MODE

On March 2, 2021, the Secretary General of the Russian Paralympic Committee, 5-time Paralympic Games champion Andrey Strokin took part in the first meeting of the paratriathlon Commission of the Russian Triathlon Federation (FTR) via video conference.

The FTR President Ksenia Shoigu addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

The meeting discussed the development of paratriathlon in the Russian Federation, as well as the participation of the Russian national team in the Paralympic Games and the World Championship.

At the end of the meeting, Mikhail Kolmakov, a member of the Russian national triathlon team in the spot of persons with PODA, was awarded the title of Master of Sports of Russia of international class.

The Commission was attended by the General Secretary of the FTR Galina Shipovalova, the head coach of the Russian national triathlon team Sergey Karacharov, the senior coach of the Russian national triathlon team Marina Nikitina, the senior coach of the Russian national triathlon team Sergey Shirshov, the coach of the Russian national triathlon team Oleg Zolotarev, the coach of the Russian national triathlon team Andrey Chekunov, the General Secretary of the All-Russian Federation of Sports of Persons with PODA Andrey Kochnov, etc.
