4 GOLD AND 2 SILVER MEDALS WERE WON BY RUSSIAN ATHLETES AT THE EUROPEAN CUP IN IPC NORDIC SKIING AND BIATHLON IN FINLAND

European Cup in Nordic Skiing and Biathlon of the International Paralympic Committee took place in Vuokatti (Finland) from 17 to 22 of December.

There were about 100 athletes from 20 countries participated in competitions.

Ekaterina Razumnaya (athlete - guide Alexey Ivanov, Sverdlovsk region) won the most quantity of medals in Russian team. Ekaterina came first among athletes with visual impairments in biathlon sprint, and twice came second in Nordic skiing on short and medium distances.

Ivan Tsaplin (Moscow) won one gold medal each in middle-distance in Nordic skiing in the standing category, Vadim Raskatov (Altai Territory) in short-distance in Nordic skiing in the standing category and Vladimir Chaynikov (Udmurt Republic) in biathlon sprint among standing athletes.
