21 GOLD, 12 SILVER AND 16 BRONZE MEDALS WON THE RUSSIAN NATIONAL TEAM AT THE STAGE OF THE PARA CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING AND BIATHLON WORLD CUP IN SLOVENIA

In the city of Planica (Slovenia), the stage of the World Cup in cross-country skiing and biathlon among athletes with physical and visual impairments ended.

As the result of the competition, the Russian National Team won 21 gold, 12 silver and 16 bronze medals, leading the medal standings.

The Ukrainian team is in second place - 6 gold, 10 silver and 13 bronze medals. The USA team won the third place - 6 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals.

In total, 6 sets of medals in each class were played at the competition.

The absolute winner of the World Cup stage was the representative of the Udmurt Republic Vladislav Lekomtsev.

Ivan Golubkov (Moscow / Komi Republic) won 5 gold and 1 silver medals.

4 awards of the highest standard and 2 bronze medals were won by Vera Khlyzova and Natalia Yakimova.

Stanislav Chokhlaev with a guide Oleg Kolodiychuk won 3 gold, silver and bronze awards. In addition, Stanislav and his guide Andrey Romanov won gold.

The Tyumen skiers Nikolai Polukhin with the guide Eduard Berezin also became the absolute prize-winners of the competition, who won 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.

Anna Panferova (Tula region, sports presenter Andrey Zhukov) won 3 silver medals, Yulia Smirnova (Tyumen region, sports presenter Roman Tarasov) - 2 silver medals, Marta Zainullina (Republic of Tatarstan) - 1 silver and 3 bronze medals, and Alexander Pronkov from Moscow won the silver medal.

Alexander Davidovich from the Republic of Bashkortostan and Rushan Minnegulov (Republic of Tatarstan) won 3 bronze medals each. Ivan Kodlozerov from the Arkhangelsk Region won 2 bronze medals, and Vladimir Khairullin (Perm Territory, sports leader Dmitry Gorshkov) - bronze.

 

RESULTS OF THE SIXTH DAY OF COMPETITIONS

On March 10, on the final day of the competition, the biathlon sprint took place.

Among men with visual impairments, Stanislav Chokhlaev and Andrei Romanov won gold medals, and Nikolai Polukhin and Eduard Berezin won silver medals.

For women with visual impairments Vera Khlyzova with Natalya Yakimova and Smirnova Julia with Roman Tarasov also won gold and silver medals.

In the male standing category Vladislav Lekomtsev and Ivan Kodlozerov won gold and bronze medals.

Ivan Golubkov won the race in the sitting category.
