2 SILVER AND 2 BRONZE MEDALS WERE WON BY THE RUSSIAN NATIONAL PARA ARCHERY TEAM AT THE OPEN CUP OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

The Open Cup of the Republic of Belarus in para archery took place from May 23rd to 28th in Minsk.
Along with healthy athletes, athletes with physical impairments took part in the competition.
The participants were representatives of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. 134 athletes, including 12 Russian Paralympians fought for the medals in mixed, individual and doubles disciplines.
The Russian Paralympians won 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in the block bow event.
Bair Shigaev (Republic of Buryatia), Alexander Gombozhapov (Republic of Buryatia) and Alexey Leonov (Astrakhan Region) were on the second step of the podium in team competition among men.
Among women Yulia Alekseyeva (Krasnodar Region), Anastasia Dzhioeva (Moscow Region) and Tatiana Andrievskaya (Republic of Buryatia) won silver medals in the same event, Elena Krutova (Moscow Region) and Anna Ilyina (Moscow) got bronze medals; Alina Kuzovkina (Moscow) was also among their team members.
Tatiana Andrievskaya and Alexander Gombozhapov took the third place in mixed team event.
