THE RUSSIAN NATIONAL HOCKEY SLEDGE CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE TULA REGION WILL BE ATTENDED BY 8 TEAMS FROM DIFFERENT REGIONS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION.

The Solemn Opening Ceremony will be held on October 16, within the framework of which master classes will be held for students of sports schools in the Tula region, as well as for members of the teams of the Children's Sledge Hockey League. RPC leaders are planning to take part in the ceremony.

 The second round of the Russian Championship will also take place on the OCT RUTB from March 20 to March 30, 2019.

 In the sports season of 2017/2018, the winner was SCC “Ugra”, the second place went to the team “Phoenix” and in the third place - SCC “Udmurtia”.

For the first time in the Russian Federation sledge hockey appeared in 2009. In the same year, the first Russian hockey sledzh championship took place in the city of Podolsk (Moscow region) at the Vityaz ice skating arena.

 For clubs in the Russian Federation, the Russian Championship is held, consisting of two stages, as well as the All-Russian competitions in Moscow, Khanty-Mansiysk, Izhevsk and Orenburg.

At present, the basic teams for the national team are SCC Yugra (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area), SCC Fenix ​​(Moscow Region), SCC Udmurtia (Udmurt Republic).

 Thanks to their perseverance and courage, in 2014 at the XI Paralympic Winter Games (Sochi), Russian sledge hockey players won silver medals, in the 2015 World Championships in the United States - third place, and in 2016 at the European Championships in Sweden won.
