Par Canoe and Rowing Cup of Russia finished in Krasnodar
From April 29 to May 1, Cup of Russia competitions in rowing and canoeing of sports were held in Krasnodar. 32 athletes from 12 regions of the Russian Federation competed in 9 Paralympic and 3 non-Paralympic classes.

The Cup of the Russia was won by a team from St. Petersburg, the second place was taken by a team from the Krasnodar Territory, the third place was taken by a team from the Volgograd region.
The senior coach of the Russian national team, Archile Mavrofidi, noted:
“According to the results of the competition, the Russian team was staffed to participate in the European Championship from 20 to 22 May 2019 and next in the World Cup from 23 to 26 May 2019 in Poznan (Poland). The leaders of the national team showed good results in comparison with the results of international competitions. From May 10 to 19, a training event on preparation for the European Championship and the 2019 World Cup in rowing in canoes and canoes – para-canoe will be held in Moscow on the rowing canal “Krylatskoe”.
