RPC holds advanced training courses for coaches and specialists in cycling and shooting sports

The Russian Paralympic Committee organises training for coaches and specialists on Additional Professional Educational Programmes - professional development programmes. Educational activities are conducted by the RPC on the basis of the licence for educational activities №037666 of July 2016, issued by the Department of Education of the City of Moscow to the Russian Paralympic Committee.

In 2024, training will be held from 16 September to 22 November on the following programmes:

- Training of athletes in Paralympic shooting;

- Training of athletes in Para cycling.

The professional development programmes are aimed at improving the existing and obtaining new professional competencies of coaching staff and specialists in the above-mentioned disciplines of Paralympic sports, necessary for professional activity in sport.

 

The training will cover the legal and organisational basis of the system of Paralympic athletes training in the Russian Federation; the organisation of training and competition in Paralympic shooting and Para cycling; sports functional classification of athletes, etc. The lecturers of the programmes will be Paralympic experts.
