PAVEL ROZHKOV TOOK PART IN A MEETING OF THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE FOR THE PREPARATION AND HOLDING OF THE X INTERNATIONAL SPORTS FORUM "RUSSIA - SPORTING STATE"
The President of the Russian Paralympic Committee Pavel Rozhkov and Chairperson of the Governing Board and First Vice-President of the RPC Artem Toropchin took part in the meeting of the Organizing Committee on preparation and holding of X International Sports Forum "Russia - Sporting State".
The forum will take place on September 28-30 in Kemerovo Region.
The meeting was led by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko. It was attended by Igor Levitin, Aide to the President of Russia, Oleg Matytsin, Minister of Sport, Dmitry Svishchev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture and Sports, Governor of the Kemerovo Region Sergey Tsivilyov, Ambassador for Special Assignments, Special Representative of the Russian Foreign Minister for International Sports Cooperation, Mikhail Khorev, representatives of the Administration of the President of the Russian federation and the federal executive authorities involved in the event preparation.
Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that the program of the jubilee forum will attract attention not only of Russian, but also of the international sport community.
"Now we see that the preparation is going on a good organizational level. On the eve of the Forum various sport events are already started in Kuzbass. Over 100 business, cultural and sporting events are planned during the days of the forum. Up to 5 thousand participants are expected, including guests from 11 friendly countries.
The opening ceremony of sport venues, built within the framework of the federal project "Sport is standard of life" across the country, is traditionally planned during the videoconference mode," said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The Vice Prime Minister added that the Figital center will be solemnly opened on the platform of the forum. It is a combination of a multisport platform and cybersports club. Each visitor of the center will have an individual rating, and the most active ones will be able to take part in the first ever international tournament "Games of the Future" to be held in Kazan in 2024.
The Forum "Russia - Sporting State" is traditionally dedicated to the key issues of the current agenda of the sports industry. Within three days, more than 40 business program events are planned on six sites in Kemerovo, Sheregesh and Belov. The participants and guests will also find a wide sports program, in which more than 3.5 thousand athletes are involved. This is a traditional race, master classes with famous athletes, as well as the finale of the motorcycle race "Donbass - Kuzbass", which by the time it ends in Kemerovo will have covered more than 5 thousand kilometers. Much attention is paid to the issue of information support of the forum, 14 media partners from federal and regional media," added Oleg Matytsin.
Besides, about 50 cultural events and the exhibition of sport equipment and furniture made in Russia are planned within the frames of the Forum.
