ON THE SECOND DAY OF COMPETITION IN ATHLETICS DURING THE SUMMER GAMES FOR PARA ATHLETES, THE NEW WORLD RECORD WAS SET

On October 5 in Sochi at the "Yug Sport" training facility the second competition day of the athletics at the Summer Games for Para Athletes "We are Together. Sport" took place.

Athletes competed for 39 sets of medals in throwing club, shot put, javelin, running in distances of 100 meters and 1500 meters.

Four Russian records were also set:

Alexey Churkin (Rostov Oblast) in F32 class and Evgeny Demin (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug) in F31 class set Russian records in the clab throw, Evgeny also exceeded the world record at this distance.

Vladislav Anikanov (Bryansk region) became the record-holder of Russia in throwing clab (class F34), and Alexey Grudinin (Rostov region) set a record in high jump (class T42).
