Ceremony of presenting state awards to the winners of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Summer Games

In the Alexander Hall of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin presented state awards of the Russian Federation to the winners of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Summer Games.
The Games were held from August 28 to September 8, 2024 in Paris. Russian athletes performed in five of 22 sports, while winning 64 medals (20 gold, 21 silver and 23 bronze) and taking eighth place in the unofficial medal standings in terms of the total number of medals.
Earlier in the day, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyaryov presented state awards to Russian athletes who became silver and bronze medalists at the Grand Kremlin Palace.
