On September 14 the Secretary General of the Russian Paralympic Committee, five times Paralympic champion, Andrey Strokin took part in the meeting of the Russian Sports Ministry Commission by videoconference to determine the compliance of the organizations involved in sports training, the conditions of using the words "Olympic", "Paralympic" and "Deaflympic" or words and phrases formed on their basis in the title.
The meeting was conducted by Alexey Morozov, the Deputy Minister of sport of the Russian Federation.
Participants of the meeting reviewed applications submitted to the Commission of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation to determine the compliance of organizations involved in sports training for compliance with the conditions of the use of the words "Olympic", "Paralympic" and "Deaflympic" or words and phrases formed from them in their titles.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Centre for Sports Reserve Preparation" Kadriya Akhmerova, the Head of the Adaptive Physical Education and Sports Department of Physical Culture and Mass Sports of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation Sergey Nesterov, representatives of structural divisions of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and others.
